ACCA guide

ACCA exam dates and timetable

ACCA runs four session-exam windows a year — March, June, September and December — for all Applied Skills and Strategic Professional papers. Applied Knowledge exams (BT, MA, FA) are on-demand year-round. Here are the confirmed 2026 exam weeks, the entry deadlines that decide how much you pay, and how to plan your sittings.

2026 session exam weeks

March sitting: Monday 2 – Friday 6 March 2026. June sitting: Monday 1 – Friday 5 June 2026. September sitting: Monday 7 – Friday 11 September 2026. December sitting: Monday 7 – Friday 11 December 2026. Each paper is on a fixed day of that week — check the ACCA timetable PDF for the exact day of your paper.

Entry deadlines and fees

Three deadline tiers per sitting: Early (cheapest), Standard, and Late (most expensive). Early deadlines fall roughly 15 weeks before the exam week, Standard around 6 weeks before, Late around 3 weeks before. Booking Early saves £30–£100 per paper vs Late.

How many exams per sitting

You can book up to four exams per session and a maximum of eight per calendar year. Most working candidates take one or two per sitting to keep the study load manageable.

On-demand exams

The three Applied Knowledge exams (BT, MA, FA) plus the two Foundations-level LW variants are on-demand — book at any test centre year-round, usually with 1–2 weeks' notice.

Results dates

Session results are released roughly 6–7 weeks after the exam week. March results ≈ mid-April, June ≈ mid-July, September ≈ mid-October, December ≈ mid-January.
